What is Carolina Health Centers?
We are a non-profit community health center organization whose purpose is to provide comprehensive health care services to people within a seven county area in South Carolina. We operate seven family practice offices, one pediatric office, one dental center, a school based health center, a mobile health clinic and a pharmacy.

We provide family health services for all ages, featuring family practice, pediatrics, adolescent service, women’s health, and geriatric services. Referrals are made for specialty care and inpatient care. We also participate in a national “diabetes collaborative” which tracks each patient’s progress toward goals aimed at keeping the patient healthy. Our pharmacy provides Carolina Health Center patients with medications at reduced prices. |
We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurances. Our centers also offer a sliding-fee-discount program for eligible low income families. |
