CHC Receives HRSA's 2026 Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality Badge


GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Carolina Health Centers' IT Department has received the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Badge for Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality.
According to HRSA, the criteria to earn Advancing HIT for Quality Badge is:
-- Offer telehealth services.
-- Exchange clinical information online with key providers' health care settings.
-- Engage patients through HIT.
-- Collect data on patient health-related needs.
Tim Anderson, Chief Information Officer, states, “Receiving the HRSA Advancing Health IT badge is a meaningful recognition of Carolina Health Centers’ commitment to using technology to improve the care we provide.
